Perforated pipes are used to collect rainwater from boggy or flooded areas and carry it to either a storm drain, or more usually a natural watercourse such as a stream. Water from the surrounding soil percolates into the pipe through the small perforations and is carried away along the smooth internal bore.
Perforated twin wall is more commonly used in commercial applications, where large amounts of water need to be collected such as in a flood risk area. The compression strength of Twinwall also makes this product ideal for use in removing rainwater from trafficked areas, such as golf courses where buggies are driven. Our perforated Twinwall is fully perforated all the way around the pipe.
This product is manufactured from HDPE, making it light and simple to install. Perforated twin wall pipes can safely be used up to a buried depth of 6m providing the ground conditions are suitable.
