This underground socket plug can be pushed into the socket of any 110mm drainage pipe fitting once that socket has been lubricated with silicon spray or gel lubricant. It then provides an airtight and watertight seal that can be either temporary, to protect the drainage installation from other site works, or permanent, to cap off an unused section of drainage.
Please note that vent pipes should never be capped with a 110mm drain plug, as this will create pressure imbalances which will very quickly cause the drainage system to fail.
