A coarse-toothed saw is suitable for the cutting process. Ensure that cuts are made in the valley section of the ducting and are perpendicular to the ducting’s axis. Before any jointing efforts, it’s important to check that the ends of the ducting are smooth and devoid of any sharp edges, debris, or grit for a clean and safe connection.
