Junctions in an underground drainage system are used to connect two pipe runs together. They are available in two angle options, either 45 degrees (often called Y Junctions) or 88 degrees (often called Tee Junctions).
Unequal junctions have a socket on both outlets, but the inlet is plain ended.
The branch of an unequal junction is 110mm in diameter whilst the main run is 160mm.
When using junctions in a drainage installation it is important to remember the basic principle of drainage design that all parts of the system must be accessible for inspection and cleaning.
