This 90-degree external angle is used to turn the gutter around the outside corner of a building. As 150mm industrial gutters are not symmetrical, gutter angles are supplied as either internal or external to ensure a proper fit.
External corners are typically used for all 90-degree changes in direction, except at the base of a valley where an internal corner would be required instead.
