A complete land drainage kit comprising a 100mm (O.D.) x 50mtr coil of perforated land drain and a matching filter sleeve, supplied together.
The perforated pipe collects and carries away excess ground water, while the filter sleeve fits over the pipe like a sock to stop sand and silt particles clogging the perforations. Larger particles bridge against the fabric, improving the permeability of the surrounding backfill – a low cost alternative to expensive filter materials. The sleeve is easily fitted by one person.
