Push Fit Cast Iron Soil Double Boss Pipe Opposite - 100mm
|Brand||Hargreaves Traditional Express|
|Life Expected||100 Years +|
|Specification||BS 416/2 (Cast Iron) and BS EN 681 (Gaskets)|
|Orientation||Two Opposite Bosses|
This boss pipe is used to introduce either one or two waste pipes into the soil stack. There are two options to choose from in our double boss pipes – opposite bosses or bossed at 90 degrees to each other.
Both of the bosses are already open and tapped with a 2” BSP thread.
As our push fit cast iron soil pipes and fittings are all plain ended, sockets are required to connect this boss pipe to a soil pipe.
All of our push fit cast iron soil fittings are treated to a factory black two-pack gloss paint finish. The whole range is manufactured in grey cast iron to BS EN 1561.
This soil pipe range is particularly well-suited to installations in public buildings, listed buildings and conservation projects. It is 100% recyclable. Click here to view or download full installation instructions.
Pushfit Cast Iron Soil System
Our Traditional Express cast iron soil pipe system uses two modern EPDM rubber seals within the sockets, enabling fast and easy joints to be made.
Unlike the traditional lead-poured joint system of old, push fit cast iron soil pipes need no specialist training to install. The only system tools required are the TX0002 gasket relaxing tool and some TX0001 lubricant.
Cast iron pipe is strong, durable and it has excellent sound-deadening qualities. Correctly installed, it will last for the lifetime of the building.
