Our soakaway crates, permeable paving, tree root protection and drainage cells are supplied by Rainsmart, a specialist manufacturer of stormwater management and geosynthetic products.

Rainsmart manufacture soakaway crates, modular tanking and permeable paving, all built to a high strength-to-weight standard. Their products are distributed all across the world, and the range covers most surface water and stormwater jobs, both residential and commercial.

The Rainsmart Range

Soakaway Crates. Flat-packed Ellipse crates that assemble on site in a few minutes with a rubber mallet. A 95% void ratio gives each crate 233.64 litres of storage, and four crates make up a 1 cubic metre soakaway. A vertical crush load of 24.2 tonnes per square metre means they're safe beneath gardens and pedestrian areas.

Permeable Paving. Porous paving cells for gravel or grassed driveways, car parks and similar surfaces. They let water infiltrate and roots grow through, managing stormwater runoff while giving a stronger, more natural finish than concrete or asphalt.

Drainage Cells. Multi-use cells for green roofs, sports fields and underdrain applications where groundwater is high. High load-bearing capacity and straightforward installation make them a flexible option across a range of drainage needs.

Tree Root Protection: Rainsmart's Terravault is a modular unit that allows for the successful planting and growth of healthy trees within urban environments without impacting on the quality of roads and pavements as a result of uncontrolled root growth. The cellular confinement system guarantees protection for the roots of mature trees from vehicular and foot traffic.
